Synopsis

there was a time when I actually loved this film, especially in high school, where it’s immediately placed on a pedestal. but with age and time come maturity, realisations, and realistic expectations and One More Chance has become too saccharine, too convenient, and too delusional. it's infamous line "she had me at my worst. you had me at my best. but you disregarded everything...and you chose to break my heart” a babble of a mere boy trying hard to be a man. its poison lies on its protagonists' selfishness of not wanting to hear each other but wanting their selves heard instead. it paints rather unrealistic expectations on relationships and tries hard to hide these by using redundant dialogues with "heavyweight" phrases/delivery so audience can relate to it blindly. anyway, One More Chance doesn't deserve any chances as far as I'm concerned.
