When you're leaving your computer for a while, it's always a good idea to log out of your social media accounts. Signing out of X (formerly known as Twitter) is easy and quick, and doing this after your sessions can help protect your account. This wikiHow will show you how to log out of Twitter (X) on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or Android device.

  • On mobile, tap your profile picture. Tap "Settings and privacy" → "Your account" → "Account information" → "Log out".
  • On desktop, click your profile picture in the bottom-left corner. Click "Log out".
